Wow… first of all this was one of the most hole in the wall, authentic restaurants I have EVER been to. The owner was so sweet and welcomed my brother and I with the biggest smile immediately seating us and thanking us for being there. He puts love and joy into the food he makes, and his spice mix is passed down from his mama which we all know is a green flag… mind you we haven’t even got to the food, THIS IS THE WORLDS BEST FUFU AND EGUSI SOUP YOU WILL EVER HAVE. If our stomachs weren’t so happy and full we would have ordered more… this is a small mom and pop shop but there is no other way to go when looking for authentic african food. We loved every bite thank you!!

My husband has been learning more about his background & culture after doing a dna test and learning what tribe his roots are from, and he’s been wanting to try real African food. We live in Sierra vista but we took the drive out here and have no regrets. This is as authentic as it gets.. you’re not getting “my family and ancestors are from Africa” these guys are the real deal and they have a store next door that I don’t know about off Google alone, the chef took us over there and everything is from Africa, he taught us about everything and we were able to purchase a few items. We will definitely be spreading the word and we will be back many more times

Had the Chicken Egusi & added Fufu. The chicken is flavored to the bone as is the rest of the soup. Fufu was similar to potato in taste but had a nice thick texture that was a great carrier for the egusi. Highly recommend
